ajlemm
I didn't see a link for today's Stillwater show so here it is... With that being said, I will be there and will try to provide live updates via my iPhone. Ok, so how drum corps has completely infiltrated my life: I was taking a walk this morning around long lake in new Brighton, mn (dont even live near there, and it's about 30 miles from Stillwater) and thought I heard some drums off in the distance so I walked all the way around the lake and up to the high school that I knew was there (irondale). And as I walked into the parking lot thinking I would see the irondale drumline, instead I saw a whole bunch of coach buses and trucks...and The Blue Stars!!!!!!!!! I forgot about the relationship Blue Stars and IRondale share. This is the first I have been able to see a corps this year and the whole corps is working in sections. The omen of me just happening to be in the right place at the right time was overwhelming and I am choked up right now watching the brass blow my face off with a warm power chord. Wow. See you there! vferrera
it? If you don't know what "it" is, you haven't been around drum corps long enough But, every year, when Stillwater comes around, somebody says it. I'm not going to say it.
