rkfdPRphan Posted July 1, 2010 Share Posted July 1, 2010 Racine was better. Still a small horn line. Soloists good but Corp has trouble playing together. Need horns and guard. Colt Cadets sounded and looked much better than I last saw them. Soloists need work. Marching in step and in straight lines needs work. Holes but probably spacing issues. Pioneers impressed the crowd. Their opening with the horn line popping up from behind screening got the crowd going. There were 4 horns and one cymbal player standing on the sidelines. Soloists were weaker than I remember. Blue Star has revised their program some. The guard doing flags while wrapped in straight jackets looked much better. Program ran smoother but there are still a lot of holes or spacing problems. Drums were good and have improved. Overall a cleaner program and guard was much improved.
