rkfdPRphan
Lights? Do they have lights??? YES there are lights on this field. It's sunny slight breeze and no clouds. No idea if the lights work but as I remember they cast strange shadows. I might send out some messages as the show goes on. No idea how to add pictures to message. Seriously though, what was the contest years ago where they only had lights at the front of the field? Was it Alton, IL? Youth on the March? Kind of an awesome effect as I recall... ouooga
I'm crossing my fingers that Blue Stars close the gap tonight. This corps really has a shot at breaking into the top 6.
JayM
I suppose I will be the lone dissenter. I'm hoping the Cavaliers maintain (or increase) their spread over the Blue Stars tonight. Edited June 30, 2010 by JayM
GGarrett
I suppose I will be the lone dissenter.I'm hoping the Cavaliers maintain (or increase) their spread over the Blue Stars tonight. I suppose what you are seeing here is the "human factors / human nature" thing of "rooting for the underdog" and maybe even some of the ol': "Listen, these guys have been on top for so long now let's get someone else up there and mix it up a little." I doubt it's anything like: "The King(s) are dead. Long live the King(s)." Nothing wrong with rooting for your former corps, or your favorite corps... that's not being controversial. That's loyalty!
