What beer goes best with drum corps?

Recommended Posts

Anyone say a COLD beer yet.....

LOL, my bro-in-law has been a micro brewer for about 20 years and is currently in NC.

And I don't like the 30-weight he brews :thumbdown:

But a Yuengling (Yingy) Lager makes me think of Drum Corps, especially since that's what I get at the Post where we practice..

i said cold AND free

Cadets = Pyramid Hefewiezen

After all these years, Pyramid has finally "named" their Hefeweizen.

It's now called...Haywire.

Now does it still fit?

Oh, and one of the advantages of being married to an international flight attendant is the refrigerator full of German biers.

Speaking of local watering holes (The Other Mike) and PBR (ContraRich), I always enjoyed finding the local tap room in many, many little midwest towns where we could retire for a "staff meeting"to plan the next day's rehearsal and show schedule while enjoying a cold PBR or two, and a little tabletop shuffleboard before dream-time.

Minus the smoking, I was drinking Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea Vodka mixed with Country Time lemonade...quite good in fact.

We call that drink a John Daly, 'cuz it's an Arnold Palmer with.........ahhh, never mind. :thumbdown:

Oh my - you just totally shocked me with this post! He loved his Yuengling - Somtimes even threw in a lime! :)

It's me Adam! I know he loved his Yuengling! I couldn't get him to drink anything else, except here in Canada. He had a few favourites up here.
