Sad for the corps members that they aren't getting the credit due to them from the so-called "experts" in the green shirts. Losing more respect for those guys in general every day. Losing more respect for those guys in general every day. I could not agree more, maybe we need a forum that would allow us measly no nothings to enlighten the judges from a fan perspective! I think Spirit has had a strong showing all year, showed great growth and apparently the judging community fails to see or reward it! Lets see you contribute and throw your thoughts out there for nameless "Evergreens"s to comment on. I have very thick skin, I can take it. I dont hide behind a screen name or nickname, anyone knows where to find me should they wanna shoot the drum corps breeze..... I enjoy the debate and engaging in conversation. I know I will not like BD's music as much as you do, but I can't wait to be completely blown away by their excellence! I also agree about Carolina Crown. Maybe the show is a bit simple and not as jam packed with speedy motion and crazy ideas, but to me they look cleaner than Cavaliers, Cadets, and at least as good as Bluecoats (although I love the 'Coats, but in fact Crown has better feet right now). I am also puzzled by Crown's brass scores and the high scores the Cavaliers are getting in brass. But that's just me. Thanks for taking the time! kac Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 Thanks for the review! Safe to assume from your review that Blue Stars weren't dropping the no-hand flagwork like they were in West Chester? I so wanted to be impressed with it at WC and just wasn't since some members couldn't hang onto their equipment.
