Jeff Ream
the G7 idea is not dead, but at least with what I have seen, scaled back...it only details the part about shows and projected income. i am attempting to get the details online now. if you want, email me and I will send you the PDF file

"World Series...". They're bound and determined to make DC a sport. Hello Curt? Curt Gowdy, can you hear me?
garfield
They want to "...implement the series independently the encumberances of other organizations...", although they "...do feel that it is important to maintain our cooperative relationshps both within the established drum corps community and externally." I wonder how that can work when they are clearly setting up an environment where DCI and "the Series" are competing for members and fans. Each will want to capture the market. garfield
Their "season" competes directly with DCI's season. They're last show is on Aug. 7, 2011. Goodbye Allentown. Hello Annapolis, MD.
MikeN
Note the language says they're already negotiating with stadiums. We've officially reached the point of no return. Either DCI caves or G7 walks; there is no compromise. Mike
garfield
I believe this is what was handed out in MN, particularly the ProForma.
