I just go to watch Cab's pants swish around ....... and get my melody fix with the rest of the corps out there. Was a great year for DCI ... many many fan friendly and entertaining shows. I think it's remarkable to think that they were .025 away from a FOUR-peat. 07, (08) 09, 10... Incredible things going on in that organization. Their staff knows how to win. Entertaining on the other hand... I'm sure there's 50 threads here attacking BD for what they do, but holy cow. Those kids are talented and the staff knows how to bring it out. Every corp out there worked to give their best performance tonight. If people don't like the show, then send an email to the powers that be to express your concerns about design and music choices because the performers do not control that aspect of their corps. I personally loved Crown and Blue Devil's Show, Blue Knight's and the Academy's Music, but scoring is based on what the expectation the captions of the sheet and we may not agree with results, but booing the kids. That just shows some were not taught basic performance etiquette, exhibiting a real lack of class. Congratulations to all the corps, Open and World!! Some people like to beat the traffic as soon as the scores are announced, only about half hang around for the encore. Parents whose kids are marching, want to get around to the busses so they can pick them up and there are those who haven't eaten all day and are off to find a restaurant. Possibly....I managed to see some of the program on that site that must not be named...wasn't entirely grabbed by the musical program and the vid quality didn't really allow the visuals to come across. Star 93 was a bit boring to me (although I certainly saw the technical proficiency) until that freakishly loud blast at the beginning of Medea....THEN is was sit down, buckle up, and enjoy the ride time!
