Favorite Moments

Recommended Posts

So I saw this thread last year and a different version in the DCI threads.

What were your favorite moments of DCA weekend 2010? It could be anything that happened to you that particularly stood out, something funny, favorite moments in the performances (which is the preferred one haha), or like a top 10 of your favorites (which would be pretty cool too). Anyways, i'm really interested in what comes up, it was a really exciting year.

The Bucs guard at finals!

They were great and deserved the guard trophy.

In no particular order:

Kidsgrove with the safe tumblers.

Parking at the stadium NOT being a hassle.

Bush's opening sequence taking the field.

MBI's drumline.

CV's marching.

Buc's guard.

Two new corps making their first appearances.

Empire's entire show.

The uber-tough pack of potential Class A finalists.

I could go on...

- Kidsgrove's safe cracking maneuver (all done without electronics! weeeeee!)

- MBI's stunning Persian Carpets

- Bucs' opener/build through Pines of The Appian Way

- Concession Stand's Hot Chocolate on Saturday night. %^&* it was cold!

- Bucs and MBI's Percussion intermingling and congratulating each other at retreat. (minus the hats, it was hard to tell them apart)

- Statesmen Percussion / Bucs Guard photo-op social at retreat.

- Vuvuzelas (just kidding)

- Box5's montage, replays and interviews on the jumbo-tron!

- Fusion Core.

- $5 parking.
