BozzlyB
Rennick guy obviously. Things will be fine not Rennick level, but not off of this earth horrible. The guy they have will be fine. Given that Regiments drum score this year had a LOT to do with their finishing where they did, taking 6th as opposed to 1st or 2nd in drums could mean 10th or 11th place respectively if they don't fix the other sections that were an anchor last year, and the year before. Yea, I agree. Regiment, of course, will be "fine" provided their finances are in order (which there is nothing publicly at least to suspect otherwise). However it was obvious that their strong percussion section far out-performed the rest of the corps these past two seasons (especially this year), and a big change in staff will more than likely lead to a change in competitive edge at least in the near future. Without their strong percussion last year (which also helped Music GE a little, and Music Ensemble a LOT) they surely would've been beaten by SCV, and possible Blue Stars as well (if not more). By no means am I predicting any type of doom and gloom, but Regiment has been struggling in most of the other aspects of their performance (visual, brass, guard, etc) and taking a hit in their strongest caption will definitely be felt competitively. Actually - even if their drum line placed 6th this year and got an 18.6 instead of a 19.6 on finals night they still would have finished in 6th place with a 92.65 instead of a 93.

general_tsos_chicken2
I think the most important replacement will be the GUARD person. they really need someone who can get the job done and kick *** while doing it. so much of the visual score depends on guard, so... we will see! also curious who will replace rosander :(
UNTdrummer11
I definitely didn't mean what I said in a condescending way. Shouldve worded it differently. I'm sure they will have great talent. The good luck was all sent with good vibes. Hopefully that clears up a few things. I'll always be a fan of regiment, always.
