chaddyt
He is partially serious. The audience voting thing is Michael Cersaio's idea. The performance order however does not change at any of the TOC shows. That order is: Blue Stars Bluecoats Cavaliers Blue Devils Santa Clara Phantom Regiment Carolina Crown Cadets This whole thing has been cooked up by Michael Cesaio and Karl Lowe. The layout of the event and what is going on is Karl Lowe's idea and it has the potential to be super lame. Wait... that performance order is set for ALL TOC shows this summer??? Seems unfair.
roosevelt
Wait... that performance order is set for ALL TOC shows this summer??? Seems unfair. Yes. The order has to be set for all shows because of what the corps are being asked to do. Their mandated involvement in the extra activities at these shows dictates the order and it cannot change without screwing up the script for the event. The first 2 shows (which aren't ToC shows), the order of performance does reverse from Saturday to Sunday. Unless DCI hasn't corrected the schedule, this is what is on the DCI.org event listing: June 18, Saginaw, TX (DCI Ft. Worth) Listed in reverse order of performance Blue Devils The Cavaliers Bluecoats Carolina Crown The Cadets Phantom Regiment Santa Clara Vanguard Blue Stars June 19, Round Rock, TX (DCI Austin) Listed in reverse order of performance Blue Stars Santa Clara Vanguard Phantom Regiment The Cadets Carolina Crown Bluecoats The Cavaliers Blue Devils

malletphreak
How about SCV and Renegades? SCV was at Angels Camp.... so they were not there... I felt from the field Renegades did well. But this thread isn't about Renegades :)

Not to mention the front page story on dci.org which says: "With different slates of DCI judges for each of the two Texas events, and a change in performance order from Saturday night to Sunday (corps performing first one night will perform last the next), theater attendees will be treated to added intrigue as the show unfolds on the big screen and the scores are presented."
