Best 1st Place Show

Is this supposed to be BEST show or is it FAVORITE show? Cause the best is definitly not the Favorite and the Favorite is not the Best. By looking how everyone has voted it seems like most seem to be voting favorite. No offense to fan favorite Spartacus, but it is not the Best of the batch.

Best: better then all the others/of the highest quality

Favorite:most liked/ most personally favored

Ahh, but some people feel the BEST show is the most understood ?

Some people might think best means most enjoyable ? A show that people can feel a part of ?

and to think I voted Phantom 08 & BD 10......2 of the best shows I've ever witnessed

I didn't read this to be the most difficult or technical, just what people liked as best.

yeah, i always list my favorites. almost never do i think my favorites are "the best" in terms of deserving the placement/score they got. different lenses.

2002 Cavies was the first marching music show I've ever seen. It's because of that show I joined the high school marching band, and eventually, marched drum corps myself. It will always be one of my favorites of all time.

my vote went to cadets 2000. That show is the definition of what drum corps should be IMO. just a magical show.

2nd vote, PR 08, for a lot of the same reason

Man, what a great decade of shows. Just looking at that list brings back such awesome memories.

Especially that span of 'The Zone' - 'Machine' - 'Winged Victory' - 'Sparticus'...

Emotionally, Sparticus was probably #1...I still get chills whenever I watch that show.

With the first 5.5 minutes of Winged Victory as an example of pure drum corps intensity.

I find it interesting (and a little perplexing) that the three corps who dominated this decade aren't even going to be on this list (BD, Cadets, Cavies).

I agree, but people are picking their favorite shows, not the best.

Cavies 02 Best executed show we have ever seen IMHO and the crowed loved it! (I'm looking at you BD)

Cadets 2000 Love this show so much, the closer is just pure bliss

I found it went to places mentally and emotionally that no one had gone before.

It was not my favorite or a show I actually loved, but one that I give much respect to.

I doubt that I could have understood it in my 20's, 30's or even 40's. I'm just in a different place and able to understand it with a different mindset ? maybe ? I'm not sure
