Tansea
"Fanfare" was pulled directly from Stan Kenton's charts by Frank Minear as the traveled with Kenton's band. It was played in 1973.It was not unusual for Sandra to come to rehearsal in a house dress. She never wore heals. It is more likely that she would be marking time, directing the horn line in her bare feet (and a dress). If you are interested in more info on Sandra and the Argonne horn line it can be found on the DCI website at: http://www.dci.org/news/news.cfm?news_id=5...b9-6e2478272910 or type Sandra Opie in the DCI search engine for the year 2005.
