I never had no problem, yeah, burnin' down the one night stands and everything 'round me, yeah, got to feelin' so low So I decided to quickly... yes I did... to disco down and check out the show. yeah, they were dancin'.. and singin'.. and movin' to the groovin' and just when it hit me, somebody turned around and shouted..... play that funky music white boy play that funky music right play that funky music white boy lay down that boogie and play that funky music till you die ( hey, hey ) till you die ? yeah, yeah !! ozarkbugler
Wonder why BD didn't get credit for 75? http://www.corpsreps.com/search.cfm Maybe because they are planning on bringing it back and don't want to be accused of rehashing old tunes! KeithHall
It was Joey Pero who auditioned for TOP. At one of the Plymoouth (MA) concerts several years back, I learned that a lead trumpeter from St. Joe's played with TOP and still has great chops. Cainan
As much as I love me some funk, I have to agree... it would never work... not these days at least. It's a real shame too, with electronics now legal it could possibly be really cool. These days it's all about "concept shows" and themes. It's no longer about the music alone. Too bad too... The Commodores, ToP, George Clinton... the possibilities are endless.
