byline
They explain the girl levitating on another thread-she had a board under her dress-they then attached some kind of gear to it! Yup. Steve, here's a link to page 2 of that thread: 1989 SCV "Disappearing Act", Where'd that bari soloist go?!
Brassislife
I am so just ahhhhhhhhhh that nobody has mentioned the turning point of DCI The Garfield Cadets and their rendition of Rocky Point Holiday The greatest show in DCI history
Smudge
'89 SCV: after the first time I watched it on video I had to sit back for at least 10 minutes to recover...that was just the most awesome closer ever in DCI history!
OrlandoContraAlum
Music of the Night SCV 1988 (the year they brought magic to the field) :) Getting into this discussion a little late... SCV did Magic before 88. They made a girl "levitate" in 87 (still trying to figure that one out). Actually, the levitating girl was 86. In 87 they made two girls "appear from nowhere" from under a cloth. Pretty cool stuff... Of course, we can't forget the magical changing pants in the tunnel from both 85 and 86. bluejupiter
no one has said Scouts '97...... that's definately my favorite. not exactly old school, but then again i'm still schooling myself in old school. Scouts '95.... i just have to say "####." watching the guard destroy their equipment is intense. breaking poles in half, flinging them against the ground, full force.... *shiver*
