I'm not sure why but I dislike the name: The Audobon Bon Bons

I'm sure there are more that I like rather than don't like...I'll be back! :P

Gee, that's odd...maybe because I grew up watching them...it just seemed to fit their blue and white cowgal outfits. Not sure why, come to think of it. :)

Favorite: Phantom Regiment - Just a cool name for a drum corps.

Worst: The Cadets of ... - It is, and always will be Garfield Cadets <**>

Oddest: The Thing - Huh?

Actually, in either 71 or 72 we were the Cadets of Garfield....the genesis of the "Cadets of....." goes back further than most people realize.

Mike, Cadets of...70-72

I stand corrected.:P

It's still funny to see the blank look when I happen to be speaking with a drum corps newby and use the term "Garfield". I always have to say "... uh, er, um Cadets". That's when the lights come on :) Of course, I still use the term "Nationals" when referring to the DCI Championships.

Some times you just can't teach an old dog new tricks.

I catch myself doing the same things... :P

These new "tricks" can be a killer!

Another old dog...

Ya know ... "Blue Rock" always struck me as a funny name, too. I mean ... Blue Rock? I don't really get it. Anyone know the genesis of that name? It sort of stands out amid all the various Knights, Stars, Cadets, Scouts, Cavaliers, and Vanguards ... :D

Fun fact -- unless I'm grossly mistaken, there isn't one corps competing in North America today that has a color other than blue in their name. (And no, the "Green Machine" doesn't count. LOL)
