Madison Scouts - They could end up as high as 6th if they execute, but (and I seem to be in the minority here admittedly) I do not think the show contains as much potential as others have mused. GE wise, the arrangements are choppy and not quite gelling yet. The visual program again is a major weakness. Apparently, the judges disagree with you. Pioneer 22.Mandarins 23.Cascades I 'd love to see the Crossmen back in Finals and the Top 12. Right now, it sure looks like they have a shot. If they made it, this would have to qualify as one of the feel good surpises of the year. Few of us had them in the Final Top 12 in preseason. I know that I didn't anyway. I'm looking forward to catching them live later this season. I've only seen them on FN, but I like what I saw and heard there from the Crossmen. This is just a fun, entertaining, and well executed show. Maybe less demanding than the last couple of years, but is going to a crowd favorite. 3. Phantom...A simply beautiful and well put together program. Strong in every caption. Will win high guard. 4. Blue Devils... The lack of visual demand is going to finally catch up with them. 5. Are you sure you are watching the 2012 season? Well, to be honest and realistic, Scouts were scoring very well at this point last year, and we all see what happened there. It's a cool show, yes, but maybe a little early to be saying they're a lock for the Top 5. They do have more demand than last year, but I honestly don't think it's quite enough to compete with the Top 5, and some of their arrangements are a bit choppy the way they jump between pieces.
