Measton
Raiders: surprising sound from the corps - great volume and clarity. Love fourth movement! Teal: Spinning cymbals were unique, got a loud roar from audience. Other than a few stragglers on phrases, well done. Colt: All By Myself drew audience in to close. Solid performance. Crossmen: World drill/visual at beginning was really interesting. Love the volume this corps puts out, quiet ending warmly received. Crown: burned down the house, no doubt, Brass was impeccable as usual; visually, work to be done (though I heard new closer drill is being given out soon!). Cadets: first I heard/saw of th show - excellent brass, and arguably the cleanest visually tonight. Great surprise, as I was a doubter of 12.25. Cannot wait to see what they do next! George Dixon
sorry for delay / walked back to my car Cadets gave a solid performance Opener is strong point Middle tunes tighetened up and improved Percussion is a significant strength over Crown Cadets will need to restage the ballad / push toward audience / lose the slides and get the guard in white / to trim the GE gaps in music and visual that have opened up Pushed toward audience that tune could be an imcredible music moment ala Hymnsong Closer seems short and ragged / like a temp fix Overal very talented and well performing corps with a nice program
