Since mirror forms and other movements and issues are becoming more prevalent in some quarters and presented as new, the following words and phrases should be banned:

old school

dino

elevator drills

rotating company fronts (really, really old if you’ve seen Carver Gay Blades)

Some Issues <–--- not a word or phrase, but a separator title

corrupt – in any tense or as a descriptor

another – added to “Open Letter to…

fugly

meh

roof

decline

attendance

disconnect - in any tense or as a descriptor

Some words already mentioned deserve reconsideration:

Thunderous goo is a good descriptor

Honk seems appropriate. Though it discriminates against percussion/pit, guard and drum majors, there are more horns (honkers) than all three groups put together. Not sure terms like flammers, flaggers and arm wavers would work. A discussion of a replacement for Honk could be interesting.

Int – an important and integral part of DCI, but could be replaced.

Guess I can't talk about drum line drills during my time.

LOL, before my time.... How about 'suicide wheels" ala the Hurrcs.....

Suggest banning 'overtone' without a Masters Thesis on what the Hades an Overtune is acoustically.....

Jim, you can absolutely talk about drum line drills, Just use the phrase "percussion movement" that has the same new (old) effect.

Edit: added (old)
