Mello Dude
Definitely can't hear the feet in the sound like you used to. LOL, apparently you haven't been on the field lately.
fsubone
Gone from a P-47 to an F4U on avatar, I see.... Both were F4Us, technically. The first one was an F4U-4 or -5, with the R-2800. The new one is an F2G Super Corsair with the R-4360 Corncob engine in it. I'm a nerd about these things.

Besides Connecticut(the state I live) designated the Corsair F4U as the official state aircraft in 2005 as well. And back on topic I have to say that SCV in "white pants" and Scouts in "white pants" ANY YEAR was always so impressive to me with the HMT. I will agree with you. I think both corps used a bit of it in 2005 the last time both were in white pants. It took a lot of work to get clean, but looked darn effective when done right.
