Michael Boo
Let it go, Boo. Just let it go. I'll stop campaigning against the name "Bluecoats" as two words when they pry my blogging laptop from my cold, dead fingers. Until then, the wrath of Boo shall descend like an impenetrable wall of hellfire upon the appellation apostates.
NightmareBC
Perhaps what's most exciting about this is the future opportunities. As a future music educator it's exciting to think of all the opportunities I could get my students involved in. I personally grew up in an area where the marching arts were virtually non-existant, I was personally lucky to be brought up in a drum corps family. This presents a tremendous opportunity to give areas like mine the ability to broaden students horizons in something other than the concert ensemble. They can participate in this activity without having to extend their neck so to speak if it's not possible. I wish there were more details, but if this can get off the ground running, it could be beneficial for not just DCI, but the arts in general.
Kamarag
Filthy and un organized. The American Idling of drum corps! Great what next "reality shows"? Dirty? Sure. But a bazillion times more entertaining than most drum corps shows. Which is, of course, the whole point.

darkman
So SoundSport = DCA Minicorps - http://youtu.be/E0wuZs_U6Hs or this Drumline Battle = http://youtu.be/OcxMRUK_nv0 or this or maybe even this http://youtu.be/AGLjFwNgq7k
Kamarag
So SoundSport = DCA Minicorps You keep posting this in different threads. SoundSport isn't mini corps. Though a mini could compete in SoundSport, it's not the same. At all. This could be SoundSport, but it's certainly not mini-corps: Edited January 19, 2013 by Kamarag
charlie1223
Dirty? Sure. But a bazillion times more entertaining than most drum corps shows. Which is, of course, the whole point. For you maybe! Not for me!
