perc2100
the point is, it is tons of stuff to haul around, and it costs lots of money to do that,.......right? :blink:/> I thought your point was front ensemble equipment & electronics took up TWO semi trailers to haul for the summer. Here's what you said: Gary Matczak, on 01 February 2013 - 11:40 AM, said:the pit and PA gear can take up as much as two friggin' tractor trailers that drive in the caravan all across the country,..........the equipment itself is expensive to someone, sponsorship or not,.........THAT is a big chunck of a budget when you break it out that way,......... in that case, you're incorrect. Triple Forte
your theory was that electronics in the pit added a whole semi truck to the convoy. my point is...not true. Well...when selling the idea of amping the pits (and even allowing electronics), some persons said it would reduce the overall size of the pit...eh...that ain't happening btw...amped pits started in 2004....almost tens years ago....seems they should have this figured out by now....you know..the quote "Experts" Edited February 2, 2013 by Triple Forte

Tim K
Surf Unveils New "Triple Supertruck" If that is really Surf's new vehicle and not a new truck with a little help from Photoshop, their greatest challenge will not be making finals, it will be navigating it through some of the streets where they are performing. They're slated for shows in Quincy, MA where one car can clog the streets--old Colonial streets are not very wide, Lynn, MA which is always a traffic nightmare (not a slight, I once lived in Lynn, Lynn, the city of sin and love the place), and Bristol, RI, again a town with streets that date back to the colonies.
