SFZFAN Posted June 13, 2013 Share Posted June 13, 2013 Not to be too drum-geeky but... That's an all-maple shell, right? I thought the marching drums from Mapex were the Saturn shells (maple/walnut)? I wonder if Mapex makes DCI drums differently than they do for the general public. [/quote actually, won't the reddish tint seem more red against an all blue background of the uniform? Goes with their show theme nicely, ya think?! Subtle but understandable.
