Summer Olympic Games in Cincinnati

No shows east of California for the 24th! So no reason not to start this thread now!

The annual SUMMER MUSIC GAMES in CINCINNATI is on the 25th at Fairfield Stadium in Fairfield, Ohio!!!

The schedule is:

3:00 pm Gates open for Clinic

3:30 pm Full Corps Clinic presented by Bluecoats

5:00 pm Clinic Concludes

5:30 pm Gates open for Evening Competition

7:00 pm Welcome & Announcements

7:05 pm National Anthem (Fairfield High School Marching Band)

Presentation of Colors (Fairfield Fire Department Honor Guard)

7:15 pm Cincinnati Tradition from Cincinnati, OH

7:32 pm Troopers from Casper, WY

7:49 pm Crossmen from San Antonio, TX

8:06 pm Spirit of Atlanta from Atlanta, GA

8:23 pm 20 minute Intermission

8:43 pm The Cavaliers from Rosemont, IL

9:00 pm Madison Scouts from Madison, WI

9:17 pm The Cadets from Allentown, PA

9:34 pm Bluecoats from Canton, OH

10:00 pm Awards and Corps Brass Finale

Forecast is a high of 90 with the possibility of thunderstorms.

Should be 83 and humid by starting time.

Sure looks like a fun lineup!

I will be there tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Will write a review later that night (my hotel is only a few miles away). Can't wait to see Madison, Crossmen, and Troopers.

I will be there as well. I havent decided if I am just going to stay in the lot though.

I'll be there...with Cincinnati Tradition. Looking forward to seeing all the great corps after we go on. NOT looking forward to 93 degree, humid weather...too many memories from my DCI days! haha

Last year's show (or was it the year before) had a monsoon arrive before it was over.

That was the year before. It was dry when we (Tradition) started and then as we progressed it drizzled... and the heavens let loose as we hit the climax of the ballad.

I believe it was Crossmen who got their show in as the rains abated temporarily, but then they called the show after that when lightening showed up!
