fsubone
Thanks. I saw KA in Vegas a couple of years ago. That was the most unbelievable 2 hours I've spent watching an show/event in my life! Should correct myself. It's "Love Dance" not "Love Song". That was my bad.

DrumcorpsmademeaTuba
Two words: The Factory And there was more than one in that show! /> I guess the first one was more a simple chorale and was part of pre-show anyway, but I still count it. skywhopper
2010 was a pretty great year for ballads. I thoroughly loved the ballad from Blue Knights, Madison, Boston, Blue Stars, Crown, Bluecoats, and Blue Devils that year.
Geoff
If you can find it, I've always enjoyed Southwind's Robin Hood ballad from 1992. Outstanding use of hand bells.

As someone in that show, I didn't really think anyone liked that ballad. It was actually going to be the same Abyss piece Crown played this year but it was towards the last camp for Enya's Watermark. Still have the sheet music in garage with all my other DC stuff.
hostrauser
Crown 1995? As someone in that show, I didn't really think anyone liked that ballad. I love it! Especially the way the pit ends the piece. Then again, not many people like SCV 93 or SCV 95, and I love those shows, too. So maybe I have "weird" tastes.

DrumManTx
Blue Stars 2010 is probably my favorite. Love Vangaurd 2011 as well.
