BRASSO
You'd have to catch the harp quietly. Any vibration of the strings would result in a penalty. One should never attempt to toss a harp in the air in the first place. He just might not appreciate it.

ibexpercussion
Maybe not have it not be a penalty to use baby powder, or whatever the Boston Crusaders used in prelims.

That's not going away. Having competitors leave the field in the same condition in which they found it is a pretty fundamental rule for fairness. Having competitors leave the field in the same condition in which they found it is a pretty fundamental rule for fairness. What about smoke effects, as from a fire extinguisher, like Empire Statesmen used all the time in DCA? And Minnesota Brass used last year to suggest exhaust from the Bonnie and Clyde car. I assume those are prohibited in DCI because they're never used, but do they deleteriously affect the field?
N.E. Brigand
Maybe these??? (Woodwinds and Strings.) We already got those when electronics was approved... We just didn't fully realize it at the time. Is the voting membership, or a significant part of it, among that "we"? Maybe having recognized that mistake, they could correct it?
Michael Boo
Is the voting membership, or a significant part of it, among that "we"? Maybe having recognized that mistake, they could correct it? The "we" is everyone. When electronics were approved, the sound of a violin or bassoon was just a key touch away. I don't believe "they" think it's a mistake, so there would be nothing to correct. Just about every corps has utilized electronics in some fashion, if not every corps.
