flammaster
I heard about BDB's drums. They are a black to silver sunburst sparkle. kind of like their 2012 drums but different color scheme. (I think those were the nicest looking drums I have ever seen on a field)
Gloryah
BK has new drums again this year. Kind of a different direction in design than that of the past couple of years. http://bknights.org/bknights.org/news/?mode=headlines&id=500 Edited June 1, 2014 by Gloryah
flammaster
I wonder if that will be the finish? Not enough drum corps have used a wood finish over the years. I like to see it when corps do.

According to their announcement, these drums do have a wood finish. This design is a Mapex Quantum Series that is finished in Natural Lacquer over an Exotic Ash Burl Veneer with Gloss Chrome Hardware.

hughesmr
First time that I can remember in 35 years that BD have had a drum color other than blue, white, black or silver. Should look different. And I think that the BDB finish would look better on PRs new unis than what PR actually chose.
perc2100
Hello, beautiful! Yeah that finish is NICE: very cool, and fairly simplistic (and effective) way to visually add to their show theme! Can't wait to see how those drums look on the field (I think they are really gonna pop beautifully)
