DrumScorps
Thanks for the successful launch weekend everyone! The response from the drum corps community has been great and we really appreciate all of the kind words. Your feedback is also very much appreciated as it will be what drives the future of DrumScorps. Edited June 8, 2015 by DrumScorps
elephanttalk
Just saw this and downloaded. As someone involved in the mobile ecosystem for their "day job" kudos to the team for the Windows Phone version... and well done all around!
Pete Freedman
Congratulations on an impressive feat. The iOS version requires 8.1, which isn't supported on iPhone 4 and older. By any chance does the development kit you are using allow creating versions compatible with older iPhones?

A lot of the code (80-90%) is shared between all 3 platforms and due to this, there are some restrictions on which OS versions can be supported. Many Apple devotees upgrade every new model, and since lots of DCI people are kids, they may have newer equipment anyway, so it's hard to know how many people would be affected. Here is an excellent breakdown of iOS versions in use, by device (and many other metrics).

brichtimp
Pete, I believe ios8 and upcoming ios9 both support iPhone 5 and possibly iPhone 4s; so if you can step into a 5 or 5s, you should be ok for a while. My spouse and son are on 5s models and iOS 8 is ok for them.
