(And that is said with the fullest amount of cynism and gentle sarcasm of which you daily imbue our sacred site.) Realism is not cynicism. Its cynicism that makes one frustrated and unhappy. Denial is even more negative and " unhappy " in the long term for an individual. as the future consequences were never or rarely anticipated. I am very happy to be enjoying these fine Corps shows today.. some are more enjoyable than some in the top 12.. but thats a separate question altogether as to whether or not these level corps will retain most of their most talented MM'S. Thats why history, realism begins to kick in for me in simply a matter of fact, realistic way, HornTeacher. But The Academy has make it work... wonderfully so. One of my favorite shows of the year. Thank you, bluesman. You just saved me the embarrassment of responding with a "meh." But hey...to each his own opinion. And your's might be a heck of a lot better informed than mine. I would bet, in fact, that it is.
