Last year's show was just magical. Really masterful in it's design and you could tell the performers loved performing it. I think that's a really hard show to follow up. I thought they sounded and looked great last night. Was much more impressed than I was at Stanford. They may miss finals this year, but they are definitely a great corps. Personally, I think it's kind of silly - the whole "Rabbit Season" sign and half the guard in rabbit costumes. I think they should go the more serious route. The guard impressed me last night. Academy is distinct...it plays the whole song (e.g. Unchained Melody, Step In Time) 3. Academy becomes very popular...because it plays the whole song (not because of movie characters). 4. Academy makes Finals. 5. Academy now plays musical fragments.
