BariBone
Horrible 17 tour schedule. Very dissapointed. The opening weekend in Ohio in Massillon reduced to 5 corps. Minnesota has no Big East presence. Too bad they couldn't beef that show up since they lost the GA dome and put the Minnesota show in a climate controlled palace where the Vikings play. The biggest dissapointment is the Chester Pa "Tour of Champions " show reduced to 6 corps with no SCV or BD. Of course YEA will charge premium prices to get in as if it was an 8 corps show with BD and SCV.

Wonder if Surf is hosting that show? Too bad the Chester show is so small. Maybe it will pick up a couple corps. BD probably wants housing with room service at the Ritz Carlton and practice at the Novacare fields!

Massillon will pit the Coats, Cadets, Crown, and Boston Crusaders against each other for the first time this season. Whose honkers will come out victorious? whose faculty but press releases? 2. SCV will appear the night after Chester in another show not even 100 miles away. First East Coast view of Bloo. Corps from England will also compete. Priority seems to be to sell tickets at Allentown regional. 3. Viking fans from Minn. band circuit say that the sound is not that great from field to stadium audience and press box. Stadium was built to diminish crowd sound. 4. BD is in other Cadets' show at Annapolis, again less than 100 miles from Chester. 5. Buffalo show retains some re-match qualities. The show is still at the University of Minnesota, not US Bank Stadium

I responded to his statement. I agree that the show will still be in Dinkytown, not cross-town.
xandandl
Phantom going out West again in 2017. Their CEO has West Coast roots. They have gone west more frequently than many other corps.
afd
BD going to the Northwest. Glad to see that. Phantom is always a real treat coming west. First big clash of the seasons....Coats and BD meeting in Denver.
corpsband
BD wins for fewest shows again (24). So far Bluecoats is the high at 31.
afd
Part of that is traveling. They go from the bottom of the west coast to the top in Seattle. Then head east. Plus their System Blue clinics.
