Massillon, Ohio 2017 version 1

Great sound from the horns!

Guard is now fencing with one another. Actual fencing sabers, it seems, as opposed to the spinning kind we normally see.

Really, why is there not more Prokofiev on the field?!?!? I love this!

And we've taken a page out of the Phantom Regiment How To Succeed in Drum Corps book - Kill somebody, violently, if possible.

Love the purple silks in the guard. They catch the light wonderfully and also have a faint striped pattern to break up the color.

There are multiple tarps which the corps are setting up on the field now.

That's always exciting!

Paul Rennick drum book - Always tasty.

Trumpet and baritone duet playing Nessun Dorma melody while the solo finishes. Nice effect.

New silks in the guard - Blue with white accents behind a black heart. Another great visual.

I have friends marching Cadets, Crown,, Coats, BD, and BAC this season.  Everyone scored except waiting for the BAC debut.  They are on a mission.

Huge sound as the corps comes front and center on the main statement of Nessun Dorma! People are standing up! That is a moment, people!!!
