kevingamin
The props during Shallow are set up in an S shape, a possible call out to their own name as well as to the name of the song.
kevingamin
The solo flag performer on the opposite side of the field from the horns is doing a ton of great equipment work spinning the flag around his neck, just letting the flag’s momentum carry it. I forget which group it was in the top 15 last night (maybe Mandarins?) but there was a close up of something I'd not caught before. A line of flags does a toss then catches it by the bottom of the extended silk letting the pole carry around with momentum and then grasping the pole. It was amazingly consistent from person to person on the line despite the potential to grab that silk at the wrong spot and mess up the pole rotation.

kevingamin
Rifle soloist on the left side, trumpet and trombone soloists wailing on the right. Full corps just pounding us with the end of that show.
