During basic training, her group was asked if anyone had any band experience, and she raised her hand. She has always regretted raising her hand. I remember doing a tour of the USS Constitution, which is still and active duty assignment, during the start of the Iraq war. Was planning on going this year again but have opted not to despite REALLY want in a live corps show. My immunocompromised self worries much about a masks optional crowd that will likely be packed in even if it is inside. It’s packed in with people yelling for a few hours. Sigh. Maybe next year.
