They really move and blow the place down. Loudest: (single hit) SCV. I STILL jump every time (full show) PhFFFFantom. Soloist: Blue Stars opening solo. Completely sets up the show. Snares: SCV. The Sanford might not go home there this year but that line plays like a single drum. Uniform: Troopers. Who wouldn’t want to wear something that ######! The layered jacket into the traditional uniform colors and layout is just impeccable. 2. Blue Devils. I don't care about the throwaway jackets in the beginning but I love the silver sequins on the tunic. When they march backfield the uni is black and when they turn you get this visual impact. Great design and my favorite BD uniform in years. 3. Bluecoats Alumni. What a great design with the super sharp dark blue, the sky blue integrated sash and the helmets with the large white plum. Santa Clara Vanguard snares were just clean as a whistle all year but everybody knows that. When seeing them up close and live about halfway through the show the snares start a drum roll while marching about mid field. They marched this roll towards the left end zone, slowed it up, then continued marching it sideways and backwards to the far sideline, in a giant elongated "C" which lasted about 30-40 yards until they finished. That's not difficult, THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE to keep a roll that long and to keep it so clean. Yet there it was for all to see. There's your best snare line.
