Good recovery indeed. 

Wow, what skills these kids have and not just physical and musical talent. Some really fine instructions/design they're getting too.  I'm going to have to start paying more attention to WGI percussion.

Nationals Squad (and 3rd baritones) notwithstanding,  CYMBAL players used to be the place for the not as talented, or least experienced.  Clearly not anymore!

That girl's fall wasn't a big deal on the overall performance at all.  

I assume most of these young people march Drum Corps in the summer?

Ah. Isn’t that the young woman who marched BD last summer & Crown before that? I like her. Too bad about the fall because they sounded fantastic. 

Guard had a great WGI this year, too. Many of the top groups had a real back-to-basics vibe that I appreciated (especially Carmel HS and Blessed Sac).
