KVG_DC Posted August 1, 2023 Share Posted August 1, 2023 Posted this over in the Phantom thread but friends of mine who were at both Atlanta and Huntington said all three corps they saw at both places had MUCH more energetic and exciting runs last night than in Atlanta. I'm wondering if there was just the heat of the southern swing + corps fighting the sickies ick that was holding a lot back. So proud to be a part of the org., even if it was two decades ago. I tear up a little when I see the crowd jump to their feet in the closer. All the corps are so talented and working hard; 5th-8th place for Mandarins, whatever, they're killing it. (still hoping for top 6 of course) P.S.
