lawdn Posted January 7 Share Posted January 7 I also thought that 2019 was a tossup and furthermore that it was significant that Bloo came so close to beating what was a very strong BD show by end of season. BD’s 2013, 2016, and 2018 show had some weaknesses that left the door open for some remarkable shows by other corps to win. 2015 might be one of those as well but that year BD pulled it out with a strong finals run. i didn’t witness pre-2013 seasons but have read that BD had a slow start in 2011 and at least one finals caption weakness in 2008 (though that was incredibly close), with many thinking someone else ought to have won in 2007. SCV in 2018 definitely had across the board strength, as did Bloo in 2019. As things settle down coming out of the pandemic hiatus, it wouldn’t surprise me if top corps other than BD soon regained that consistent strength across captions to win some gold medals. BD January 2024 schedule on the 12th, 13th, 14th had Brass and Battery camp, while two of those dates were also front assemble call back camps. I would love to be a fly on that wall. Anyhow i came across one leak music selection, not going to share it but it gives off a fun vibes. By the words of one of the designer on social media, this year show will be exciting.
