Arranging rights are easy to get. I'm looking at what used to be a giant artist in arranging rights and most are within automatic to 40 days.

But there are different rights that apply to broadcasting the performance, perhaps separate from rights that allow dvd, correct?   Seems like the stars need to align for dvd.

Dvds are never happening again because of syncing rights and profits. Groups only need to pay for arranging rights which isn't the hardest process with Tresona. Like you can get Michael Jackson songs for $180 and 6 day approval

Back in '89 there were three corps performing Carmina Burana. Blue Stars, Sky Ryders, and Limited Edition.

It was great hearing Blue Stars and Limited Edition arc up their hornlines together and play O Fortuna at DCM. People thought Sky Ryders had suddenly gotten a lot better.

It sounded great!

I still think the Blue Stars brass from '87, '88, and '89 were some of the their best from the CCI, A/A-60, and Div II & III years. A lot those members were there when the cadet corps was restarted in '82 and a lot of the members also had some connection to the corps from the '70s via family and friends.
