I have a smart knee now. 😂 I picked tickets way up top just so I’d have to walk up a lot of steps. The water thing has me a little worried, though. I think I’ll get there early and buy a few bottles. [bookmarks post for the “why did I buy these seats and extra water? I missed a corps because I had to go down and up all these steps to use the toilet” post] 😅

Maybe he wants to make a test run to get the lay of the land & make sure the steaks are rare. Or medium? 🤷♂️ I think there's a Longhorn Steak House behind the Embassy. He made the reservation yesterday for July. 😂
phd-student-TTU
I’ve been going since 2000. Love the show. Only negatives are that it’s usually hot and the band kids are oblivious to their surroundings. May miss this year as I’m probably going to Orlando for the City vs Barca friendly.

I can handle hot living down here in Floriduh but I am going north for the summer this year. Three summers of swamp hot so it’s time for a little break.

keystone3ply
To @Terri Schehr or anyone else attending the '24 event. I just received an email about improvements for the Murfreesboro show. I think they have received many complaints over the past two years due to poor planning on DCI's part. Two years ago, I asked a MTSU stadium official if this was how they'd handle a crowd of this size. (Sellout on home side) He told me this was all planned by DCI & they would have handled it differently. They actually had issues at both the '22 & '23 shows. Hopefully they've been resolved. Here's the email: The Masters of the Summer Music Games PRESENTED BY: DeMoulin Bros. & Co. Murfreesboro, TN | Friday, July 26, 2024 Hi Dan! As a previous ticket purchaser to The Masters of the Summer Music Games during the 2023 DCI Tour, we wanted to let you know that we have been working since last season with stadium officials to address many of the concerns that were voiced about the spectator experience at that show. Among the notable improvements you can expect for the 2024 event: Improved staffing at all gates Additional gates open along the west side of the stadium Improved staffing at all concession stands Heavily increased stock of food and beverage including water and Gatorade at concession stands Additional satellite concession stands in the upper and lower concourses Stadium-wide water fountain improvements Parking lots open an hour earlier Improved venue/event signage We are eager to have you join us again this year to experience the 2024 The Masters of the Summer Music Games show at Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium. 1

Wow. Feedback on the survey must have singled out the Murfreesboro in particular.
