RAILLE9192
My .02cents 85-86 Suncoast 89-93 Crossmen 89-93 Star Cavies, BD, SCV, Cadets any year always top quality. One thing I have noticed is that there seems to be more swaying and bouncing going on. Can't tell if its from the drill, or style of marching. has anyone else noticed this? IOWA How about Spyder anyone remember that b**bs

xwillox
santa clara had a great line this year. kent cater's return seemed to influence their bad assedness, but i thought this line played with a much more aggressive touch than kent used to teach. despite my scv loyalty, i'd have to say crossmen 96 or star 93 had the best basslines of all time. ...scvbass4life... KevinSop85
I thought SCV's bassline was awesome this year, even better than last year. they definitely had Eddie Montoya and Juan Gomez grinning. Â The SCV basslines of 1992-1999 HAD to be THE hottest things to hit the earth since the marching bass drum. Â Â Â -Giancarlos B) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Definitely Giancarlos!!! SCV is amazing!!! b**bs b**bs b**bs Check out some of the I & E tapes...stunning.

goalieguy
Ummm, yeah, that would HAVE to be 1981 Cavies..............................................Starring yours truly on Bass #2!!!!! :P Picasso Suite--awesome display of power AND finesse Sing, Sing, Sing--amazing display of technical proficiency Sambandrea Swing--I gotta disagree, Malibu, the crowd isn't cheering the double rifle work--they're cheering uncle z taking bass drumming to a new level!! Softly, As I Leave You--again, I know in my heart that the crowd isn't cheering for this Cavalier standard--they are enraptured with the realization that they are about to be subjected to uncle z's interpretation (often imitated but never duplicated)of that bass drum troop-the-stands classic "Iowa"!!!!!!!! uncle z--head the size of a planetoid with it's own weather system!! ($1 to Stuart Mc Kenzie) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Will have to agree in part, as I saw them in Whitewater in both 81 and 82. Gotta be a homer though, my man Ryan is right about MBI's bassline. great in 03, unreal in 04. For the amount of time they have to practice, it is truly amazing. Uncle Z! - Love the avatar!! I'm still a fan of 'Da Crusher! ( You turkeynecks!) Rumor has it he still owns a bar here in ' The Cities.' Pat
