Ryan H. Turner
This question gets asked every 6 months, so I figured I'd beat someone to the punch and ask it. Just for new folks that realize that drum corps is missing one of the favorite corps ever in the activity. A #### #### #### shame...

sburstall
[conspiracy] VK folded because the "powers that be" didn't want a corps to entertain the audience anymore...so they forced them to overspend themselves into bankruptcy [/conspiracy]

idontwan2know
The final nail in VK's coffin was when the IRS got after them. They were paying people as independent contractors (and therefore not withholding tax and sending it to the government) who should have been considered regular employees. Eddie
I don't know about you, but the Impulse/Surf of today seems to somewhat bring back the VK/Bridgemen of yesterday.
