bluecoats88
Weird that the flap on the aussie is where it is....it should be on the horn side! Maybe it's got the flap up on both sides. I've seen that look before, I believe Troopers hat have both sides up.
randomnoise
Tom Nanni (late of the Rochester Crusaders) on the marimba. Tom is still doing Drum Corps? Any idea how to get in touch with him?
KeithHall
You were in St. Ignatious?? Naw I was at the show but on concert side. I wasn't looking at the pic very well and thought I was looking at concert side but it was the back side. I have a 2 year old grandson that is driving my wife and I crazy since we have custody. I need drum corps to get "sane"again.
KeithHall
I could be wrong. but I seem to remember their name spelled Mello-dears on the buses they used(could be a Genny Cream Ale flashback though) :P Different corps. Mello Dears were from Owego, NY This is Melodiers. That looks like the park or cemetary area near Baker Victory/Father Bakers. When we were little we were threatened to be sent there if we didn't behave.
SoundmanG
1978 Blue Stars. Tom Nanni (late of the Rochester Crusaders) on the marimba and Wayne Rahl (late of the Marquis) on the bells. Tom always said he marched in the Blue Stars although nobody believed him. I guess he was telling the truth. Tom and Scott giving our drum line (80 BD) the "stare of death" during a rehearsal. MarimbasaurusRex
Tom is still doing Drum Corps? Any idea how to get in touch with him? Tom is a lawyer in Dayton. Retired from playing many years ago. He was originally with Rochester before BS and BD. Haven't seen him in years because I don't get back that way very often, but he's around and friends have his contact info.
