Legolaus
Who can name all the corps?I think I've got them all. Tenors - Blue stars, Star, Madison, Guardsmen, Knights Snares - Railmen, Black Knights, Glassmen, Coachmen, Cavaliers, Phantom, Bluecoats, Colts, Govenaires (I think), Americanos, Northern Aurora Cymbal in back is from the Northmen from WI I think. The cymbal player is from the Madison Junior Scouts.

SoundmanG
Did someone say Tube Socks? Even the guys wearing long pants were probably wearing them underneath! 80 BD Snare Line in Birmingham
Corkie
That's the color guard bus, from that day forward known as "Howie's Heifer Hauler." (driver's name was Howie)We told the guard to lose weight but they just wouldn't listen! MOOOOO.... "H" is for the H in Heifer Hauler, "E" is for the E in Heifer Hauler, "I" is for the I in Heifer Hauler... <ad nauseum> "C'mon Heifers big & wide, let's all hear that Heifer cry.... MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I was on that bus. BTW, the only corps that thought the guard needed to lose weight was our own. We seemed to get LOTS of attention (in our shorts & boots) from plenty of other corps... dog hunts, anyone?
alvinpr89
Odd....we didn't march tenors in 87 or 88.And could the green between the Colts and Americanos be Emerald Knights? That is correct, his name is Steve and marched in the Colts in 85.

HUGADA
Wow! Awesome pic of '79 PR...so clear! Not only was the drumline very clean, but that guard was SO good! They were so clean and so-called "old-school," yet, they were so entertaining with their dance moves and such. Being a drummer, I tend to concentrate on drumline "stuff." But, this guard got won my eye!
HUGADA
I love that photo of the "80 BD line! It appeared that they didn't eat enough...way skinny! But I like the muscle protrusion! They held their own, despite being behind a bit in the score. Nice chart and very musical.

84BDsop
Look at the size of the big bass drum! Located right on the 50 yd line - front and center - where he should be! That's 'cause he probably couldn't move anywhere else safely....what a beast!!! Props to his chiropractor!
