skajerk
<{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's gotta be Hoffman on the bottom left. At least, that looks like the same man who worked with Valley Fever. Just a bit skinnier from what I remember. B)
skajerk
had problems walking and chewing gun also?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I'd probably have a hard time walking and chewing gun at the same time too. B)
LancerFi
This is SO Zingali (what I knew of the man, the myth AND the legend) that it takes my breath away. Now, I did not know him personally, but I knew OF him and his incredible reputation and HUGE talent. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's soooo Zingali, the pride, the beauty, the uniform, and the one sock down! LancerFi
http://www.georgezingali.org/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We raised quite a bit of money running the Jazzing for George last June 12. We (my sister & I) outbid everyone for Sylvesters' art work, however he has to finish it! It's at my Mother's house waiting to be shipped back. It was supposed to be completed this winter, but I didn't have the heart to bother him....but I will! Anyway, now I have to scan the photos from that night, it was a rip roarer, and soooo many people showed up, flew in, donated, etc. I met SaraNYC who knew Zingali from Star, and Spirits' Alums were nice enough to donate the Zingali and Lancer Flags from 2003 for that event and others in the future! What a great alumni they have! Also Ms. Malibu and Ms. Cascade Mama went above and beyond to help the Foundation! ! The proceeds go to members from any corps. On June 12 we awarded the Crusader drum major $$ for his college. I believe the year before it was a SCV member. Thanks to anyone else that I may have missed and I'll keep you updated. bd5times
Gotta ask... how did a snare, in a major a%% kicking drumline, get cut... especially on second tour?! blink.gif That happened with the 85 Blue Devils snare line as well. Regarding Chuck King....I never knew that he was cut. Now I understand some of the hoopla when BD was dropped in drums by Chuck that, from what I recall, cost them DCI a few years back....or am I remembering this wrong
