77kingsmensnare
I'd like to see more nudity. You just don't get enough nudity in drum corps.I'd like to see DCI die out and independent styles return to the activity. I'd like to see drum corps that are affordable for the kids. I'd like to see drum corps affordable for the ticket purchaser again. I'd like to see more volunteering in the organization. I'd like to see Optiramas return. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Uniforms optional!!!! as Marv Albert would say Yessssssssssssssssss! ^0^

Tansea
Bring back actual drum features/solos that demonstrate technical skill and demand of the battery. Too bad we don't hear solos like "Stone Ground Seven," or "Black Market Juggler" anymore. Year-in and year-out, virtually every drumline today does the same segmented formula--fractured snare, tenor, bass sequence. It's boring and compositionally static. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You are my frigg'n hero. H$## yes! And ticks! Ticks are what made drumlines great. You do the whole build-up thing for the rest of the corps, I really don't care, but I want to hear CLEAN drumlines, that's why I love drumcorps. "fractured snare, tenor, bass sequence. It's boring and compositionally static." Bad porn. That's what it reminds me of, bad porn.

MikeD
And again.... if thats what you want to see... go to a marching band show!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So what do YOU want to see...outside of trashing what others might want. Mike
sburstall
I'd like to see a return to traditions, uniqueness and local attraction of what made drum corps popular in the past, instead of it morphing into a summer version of fall marching band. 77kingsmensnare
So what do YOU want to see...outside of trashing what others might want.Mike <{POST_SNAPBACK}> First of all, I'm not "trashing" what you want to see, I am mearly stating my opinion. I would like to see the tic system come back, I would like to see color guards in uniform not costumes, I would like to see color guards march, not dance, I would like to see the concert section put back into shows, I would like to see the drum section solo put back into shows, I would like to see the nationals squad on the field, I would like to see horn lines playing back field, I wanna see DRUM CORPS! not MARCHING BAND!!!! KeithHall
I wouldhave to chuckle thinking about these younger judges saying, "What is the tic system?" They'd freak out because they would have to write or better yet REMEMBER the symbols for each different instrument. They'd quit. The older judges (are there any?) would love it because they are probably still tic-ing in their heads when judging.
sburstall
I'd like to see DCI actually care about all the corps, not just the Top 12.
