2000Cadet
Whats good about amps:-quality amps like the ones the Devils, Cavies and SCV have. -minimal use of amps -the discrete placement of the amps like SCV Whats bad about amps to me: -Feed back during the show Cadets( its an accident I know) -Narration! -Singing no matter how good you sound -drum talk into the mics. It sounds just as good without. Good Night All! Oh here we go with the crying about amps again... ...funny how everything The Cadets did with the amps is a bad thing. Biased much? Look, amps are here to stay just like fast drill, colorguard dancing and such, Bb instruments, etc., etc... STOP WHINING ALREADY, it's not THAT bad. Triple Forte
See me, at age 24, taking pretty much the same perspective. See me, at age 35, taking the same stance on amps AMPS

ZealJ03
Really? Then why do ALL the corps feel the must use them. No one in the top 12 chooses not to. I don't know, but maybe no one in the top 17 chooses not to. Why is that? Ha. It's still a choice.
euponitone
Ha. It's still a choice. But honestly, not much of one. You could choose to dip yourself on kerosene and light yourself on fire, or not, but it would be much of a choice. (Yes, I know suicide and drum corps are not really comparable... just pointing out the fact that not all choices are entirely FAIR or REALISTIC...)
