TchMuzk
Oh well, my bad. musta missed that one. It's true. It was the closer of an all-Shostakovich show.
JKatzmellophone
Check corpsreps.com but I think Reading did that in 04.Reading - Mahler Empire - Dick Tracy Show (big band, swing type show) Syracuse - Chicago (the musical and tie in the rock band) Bushwackers - Holsinger Renegades - Space... some sort of Star Wars-ish stuff Hawthorne - Drum corps fans dream part one from Madison 95 Minnesota Brass - Pat Metheny Skyliners - Sinatra Grenadiers - New World... something like what Glassmen did this year Carolina Gold - Stan Kenton Hawthorne already did that show in 1998 (note for note). I would like to see a lot more original music. I hate that DCA takes DCI hand me down music. Good or not, its already been done and is always compared with the DCI performances. Fran Haring
I would love to see the Skyliners revisit "Guys and Dolls" again. Their 1993-94 productions of that musical were really cool shows, especially the 1993 version, IMO. And as a huge Frank Sinatra fan, I have this idea for what I think would be a great Sinatra show, for anyone (but the concept most likely would need props and special effects)... except it's tough to explain in print. B) But then again, perhaps I should stick to simply listening to Sinatra. :P Fran

KeithHall
Cabs doing Sandoval. A mis abuelos for one CRU did that a couple of years ago, great piece of music Hey try Coconut Groove! If they can nail the two trumpet and sax unison at the end....wow that would be hot!
