dciguy01
My official 2006 predictions -------------------------------------- 1. The Cavaliers....in a dogfight with Cadets up till finals 2. The Cadets...see above 3. Bluecoats...they continue their climb toward the title 4. Blue Devils...better this year, eclipsing Phantom 5. Madison Scouts...should be about the same maybe a little better 6. Phantom Regiment...very good, unfortunately so is everyone else 7. Carolina Crown...see above 8. Santa Clara Vanguard...have a ways to go before getting back to the top 6, all about veteran leadership 9. Boston Crusaders...leading the lower pack 10. Blue Knights...about the same as last year 11. Crossmen...they will improve enough to make finals 12. Colts...highest ever return rate returns the corps to Saturday night Edited March 22, 2006 by dciguy01
torn8o
You might want to revise that list again. Cadets in 6th? They drop over 5 points for no reason? WRONG! And there is no way SCV (with a near-rookie percussion staff) will beat the Cadets (with a veteran staff).Whatever, most of these lists are extremely biased anyway. It really isn't ALL about percussion, you know. There ARE other captions.
TommySopranoContra
No the tie can still happen score wise. The difference is, there is a tie breaker. The score wouldn't change but we would have only one winner. People get so mad right now about Corps X should have won. Imagine having the score the same but one winner. There will be rage! If the tie breaker actually happened for the 3 other tied championships 2000 The Cavaliers would have won 1999 Blue Devils would have won 1996 Blue Devils would have won Each of the losing corps during these ties had their (what is considered to be) their corps favorite show. Whew the mad faces! ^0^

profhill
Each of the losing corps during these ties had their (what is considered to be) their corps favorite show. I disagree with this statement, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that: 2000 Cadets 1999 SCV 1996 Phantom are my favorite shows from these corps. Let's make a list of shows I like better. Cadets 83 84 85 87 90 91 92 93 97 SCV 97 98 00 Phantom 87 91 93 95 03 05 So, even if the tie breaker were in place, which if you remember the last time there was a tie many people in the stadium chanted "No more ties." (Which was wrong, since that night it WAS a tie, you really couldn't make a strong case for either corps being substanially better), I'm not sure that the "favorite" show from the corps would have finished second place.
