GGarrett
Now... Then, on the left side. (How could I be so skinny and carry those things?!?) I guess this makes me a write-in candidate! Garry GARRY... OMG! That's an awesome picture...and I am blown away by the size of the drums you and RobH and a few others actually carried back in the day. Hard to remember that that was actually COOL back then. What did those things sound like?! Geeeeeezzzz... and what did they weigh??? CRI-YI!! You got the whole "John Bonham" drum set thing going there hanging from your shoulders...
ffernbus3
VKGarry......REPRESENT!! He and Jan make beautiful babies, too! Oilvia looks the beauty in the pictures. Can't wait to see all 3 of you at Kingsmen Alumni Corps soon come. RON HOUSLEY
RobH
Actually, GGarrett, I lugged around a 15" snare drum, which wasn't half as bad as those carrying tymps or the "monster tripledrums" or even those huge bass drums carried back when! With straps, no less, not the harnesses carried today! My chiropractor thinks that's why my left sacro iliac goes out on a regular basis! MikeD
Well...I am the guy on the left...it was taken around 1:30 AM after my...what else...marching band...had competed at USSBA champs at Giant's Stadium in 2004....it was a looong (and cold) night! Usually my hair is not so slicked down....and NOT parted in the middle.... I have no closeups of my marching days scanned as of yet....here I am in 1971...on tri-tom...the inside player closest to the 50. Handsome devil, eh???? :)
PhillyDCIMontreal
My vote went to: BlueDevilLegend (Rich) : he's been a drum corps hunk since the early 70s!

john2780
Okay.. let's limit it to guys on the board.. Who did I miss? And I think a picture SHOULD be provided by the nominees (if one hasn't already been posted or is in their profile) Let the games begin! Stef Jeez, Not even an Honorablre Mention. That's ok I know of a lot of broken hearts I left behind in the '70s and early 80's that would vote for me :P :P :P
Cainan
You know, this REALLY smarts. Here I am, your friendly forum moderator, and I am completely overlooked. Well lets see what is behind curtain number 2, and lets see what you COULD have won.... Oh well, YOUR loss!
