WoofInTheWoods
Over the years what DCI corps has consistently had the greatest guard?
Malibu
It's odd that you have included some corps that haven't been around or have gone in-active. Like Spirit, Star or Suncoast. I would think if you were going to do that, you should include 27th Lancers and Bridgemen. In their day, they had some of the best guards around! jonplaysbari
Well, if you had mentioned specific years, any one of a number of mid-80's Spirit guards would rank in there. As you did not, then it's all about Cadets. :)
TrishDish1002
the guard of the 90s (good day-bad day-anyday) was the Cadets...and this year's show sounds like its gonna remind me of those days a lot! however, whoever the person was that said carolina crown's guard was absolutely right! definitely my favorite guard of the last few years (their work is outta control!) i would love to see them get the credit they deserve! trish - syracuse brigadiers guard '01-'02 :)

Guest GeorgeD
Over the past ten to fifteen years, I would say it's a pretty even tie between Devils and Cadets. In the past couple of seasons, I'd include Cavies in that group also, particularly for their silk work. Prior to this decade, I'd go for the old Phantom and 27th guards as the best up till the mid-80's. Cadets guard lept forward big time in '88 & '89... Of course in the 80's the Spirit guards were quite good also. So-I'll go with a tie- Cadets/BD. Depends on my mood.
